Selva Mail license
The short version: you bought it, you keep it, and it keeps working.
Who you are buying from
Selva Mail is sold by ID49 Digital, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we”, “us”), of 7345 W Sand Lake Rd, Ste 210, Office 8092, Orlando, FL 32819, United States. Payment is processed by Polar as merchant of record.
What you are buying
A perpetual, non-exclusive license to use Selva Mail, deployed to infrastructure you control, for $497 paid once. The purchase includes the source code, permanent access to the repository, and 12 months of email support.
The license does not expire. If you never pay us again, the version you have continues to work, indefinitely. There is no license key that phones home, no time bomb, and no mechanism by which we can switch off software you have already deployed.
Renewal
After the first 12 months you may renew for $79 per year. Renewal buys continued email support and nothing else. It is entirely optional. Your license, your access to the repository and the updates published there are permanent regardless.
Agency rights
Purchasers among the first 100 licenses receive agency rights permanently: you may operate Selva Mail on behalf of your clients, with unlimited client workspaces, as part of services you provide to them.
Agency rights cover operating the software for clients. They do not include reselling, redistributing or sublicensing the software itself to clients as a product they run independently.
What you may do
- Deploy Selva Mail to infrastructure you control, in as many environments as you need.
- Modify the source for your own use, including for clients you operate it for.
- Send unlimited email, from unlimited domains, for unlimited contacts and workspaces. We impose no metering of any kind.
What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the source code, in original or modified form.
- Offer Selva Mail as a product that third parties deploy or operate themselves.
- Remove or alter license and copyright notices in the source.
Your data and your AWS account
Selva Mail runs in your infrastructure and sends through your own Amazon SES account. Your contacts, your event log and your content are in your database, under your control. We do not receive them, and we have no access to your deployment.
Your relationship with Amazon Web Services is entirely your own, including AWS charges, SES production access, and compliance with the AWS terms and the SES acceptable use policy. Nothing in this license changes or supersedes those.
Support
Support is provided by email during the period covered by your purchase or renewal. Because Selva Mail runs on your infrastructure, support is advisory: we can help you understand and fix your deployment, but we cannot access or operate it for you.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this license is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or email that failed to deliver.
Refunds
14 days, no questions asked. Email hi@selva.run within 14 days of purchase and we refund you in full. You do not have to justify the request.
We ask that you stop using the software and delete your copy of the source after a refund. We have no way to enforce that and will not pretend otherwise — it is yours to honor.
Governing law
This license is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may revise this license for future purchases. Revisions do not apply retroactively: the terms in force when you purchased continue to govern your license.
